General InformationClearaudio's new Strobodisc allows you to accurately tune the speed of your turntable. It features a unique break in groove, which creates the additional stylus drag needed to accurately measure the actual speed of your turntable. As an added bonus, the drag groove is perfect for breaking in new cartridges. This Stroboscopic LP is the first device which takes account of the friction between the diamond stylus tip and the record groove! Setting the correct speed for your platter is one very important part of correct analogue set-up. Clearaudio’s real time speed control Stroboscopic 300hz Laser Light enables analog fans to get the most accuracy from their Clearaudio speed test record. “It’s a two-sided white strobe disc, with markings
for calibrating both 33 and 45 speeds, as well as a special groove
that allows you to break in a cartridge. Shine its little blue light
on the disc, and, viola, speed can be calibrated. The Clearaudio
Speed Test Disc and Speed Laser have become part of our reference
